8. Disabling IPv6

To disable IPv6 you need to:

· Add this line to /etc/modprobe.conf:
alias net-pf-10 off

NOTE: if the line "alias net-pf-10 ipv6" exists in the file, change it.

· Add this line to /etc/sysconfig/network
NETWORKING_IPV6=no

NOTE: If the line "NETWORKING_IPV6=yes" exists in the file, change it.
